Youth Muay Thai, Kickboxing and Jiu-Jitsu (ages 5-13)
Our youth classes offer kids a fun way to learn new skills and tricks, develop a healthy competitive spirit, build self-confidence, meet new friends and burn off some extra energy! A summary of our classes are as follows.
Muay Thai/Kickboxing: Your child will love putting on gloves and learning to punch and kick the heavy bag or mits held by the instructor! They will learn simple, effective striking combinations along with other kickboxing fundamentals such as timing, rhythm, and balance. They will also develop speed, agility and strength using engaging and fun methods, such as relays and obstacle courses.
Jiu-Jitsu: Jiu-jitsu is a martial art and self defense system that promotes the concept that a smaller, weaker person can successfully defend against a bigger, stronger assailant by using proper technique and leverage. Your child will learn basic jiu-jitsu techniques and the art of using leverage, skill and problem-solving to succeed regardless of size and weight!

ATTHD has a very nice, well-equipped, new facility, but what really sets them apart is the people! It is hard to imagine there is a local MMA gym with more qualified trainers. The workouts are hard and will get you into shape. They have a wide variety of classes so you can find what is the right fit for you. My sons, who are 10 and 12 years of age, love going to ATTHD. Everyone from kids to pro-fighters can make gains by working out at this gym. Anyone who has been disappointed by one of the many boxing fit gyms that are opening up, should check this place out!
