Jiu-jitsu is a martial art and self defense system that promotes the concept that a smaller, weaker person can successfully defend against a bigger, stronger assailant by using proper technique and leverage.

Whether you’re looking to get in shape and learn some techniques for self defense or compete in sport jiu-jitsu, ATTHD has you covered. Available for ages 6 and up, beginners to advanced. You will need to bring your own gi. We usually have gi’s for sale at the gym or can special order one for you.
No-Gi Jiu Jitsu/Grappling:
Grappling without the gi. Jiu-jitsu blended with wrestling in a fast paced style of grappling. Available for all fitness levels. This is the style of grappling you see in the Ultimate Fighting Championships (UFC), Bellator MMA and all other Mixed Martial Arts organizations. Available for ages 6 and up, beginners to advanced.

“I’ve never done jiu jitsu before, will I be totally lost?”
No! Almost everyone in our gi and no-gi classes was a jiu-jitsu first-timer at our gym at some point. Just let the instructor know that you have no experience – we will make sure you get extra instruction and are paired with another member that can help you out. This is a community atmosphere – we want more rolling partners, so we are glad to help you learn!
